The Core is a hand-drawn dark fantasy 2D action-platformer centered around atmospheric exploration, brutal melee combat and a haunting narrative-driven world.
Awaken as Detheroc, a forgotten being reborn from ancient crystal ruins, and descend into the depths of a dying world consumed by monstrous entities, buried civilizations and the remnants of a forgotten war.
Featuring handcrafted environments, magic, melee combat, mounts, powerful upgrades and fully voiced narrative sequences, The Core blends cinematic storytelling with fluid exploration and emotional worldbuilding.
